My name is Mrs. Pamela Ellis. This year I will be a student teacher in 7th- and 8th-grade Communications/Language Arts, working with Mrs. Wanzek. I know it will be a joy to work with her and all our students. I've been a writer and journalist for many years and love literature of all kinds. I also happen to think grammar is fascinating! |  |
I live in Austin with two dogs and two cats. I was born in Oklahoma and grew up in Southern California, near Los Angeles. Before arriving in Minnesota in 1993, I lived in the Pacific Northwest, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. My family loves to travel as much as I do. Currently I have relatives in Austin, Albert Lea, Minneapolis, Kentucky, Florida, California, Tennessee and Saudi Arabia.
My hobbies include playing cello (I started about two years ago); playing Farmville, Runescape, mystery seek-and-find games, word puzzles and logic puzzles; reading poetry and fiction; international gourmet cooking; walking the "Hiking Club" paths in Minnesota's state parks; and keeping up on the news.I also love to keep my eyes and ears open for unusual websites, books, movies, articles, pictures, music, phrases, words - you name it.
